Two stages, two ways to experience Void Acoustics

At a festival, the sound system influences both the musical experience and the personality of each space. Its configuration must respond to the characteristics of the dancefloor and its programme, while also offering the potential to become part of the stage’s visual language.

SOUNDIT 2026 brought two distinctly different concepts to Parc Nou in El Prat de Llobregat. For the Halo and Laberint stages, Conektion designed and implemented two Void Acoustics systems, selecting different product families to complement the individual character of each space.

Halo: a dancefloor-focused configuration

Halo’s main system comprised six Arclite loudspeakers and six Arcline 218 subwoofers. This combination provided a suitable foundation for a programme closely connected to house music, where definition and low-frequency extension are central to the dancefloor experience.

The compact format of Arclite supports the creation of high-performance systems while maintaining a restrained visual presence. The Arcline 218 units completed the configuration across the sub-bass range.

DJ booth monitoring was handled by two Arc M12 and two Nexus XL units, while two Bias Q3 and three Bias Q5 amplifiers powered the system.

Laberint: sound with a visual presence

Laberint followed a different approach. Four Air Motion loudspeakers became a visible part of the stage concept through one of the most recognisable designs in the Void Acoustics portfolio.

Four Incubus subwoofers and two Air Vantage loudspeakers completed the system. This selection brought together several of the brand’s solutions in a configuration distinguished by both its performance and its visual integration within the space.

Artist monitoring comprised two Stasys 4 and two Venu 215 V2 units. The system was powered by one Bias Q3, four Bias Q5 and one Bias Q2.

One portfolio for different stage concepts

The systems developed by Conektion for SOUNDIT illustrate two different approaches to working with Void Acoustics. Halo featured a visually restrained solution focused on the requirements of the dancefloor, while Laberint made the sound system a prominent element of its visual identity.

For NID, as a distributor of Void Acoustics, the project demonstrates the versatility of the brand’s portfolio: different loudspeaker, subwoofer, monitoring and amplification families that can be combined to support contrasting sonic and aesthetic concepts.
