At an electronic music festival, sound and lighting form part of the same creative language. Coverage must maintain the experience throughout the dancefloor, while the visual design transforms the space and helps establish the identity of the event.
For the fifth edition of Technoseven, Conektion designed and deployed a Void Acoustics configuration covering the venue’s full 40-metre length. The system was integrated with a lighting design developed by Lux Artis, featuring ADJ solutions that helped shape the festival’s visual atmosphere.
Air Motion V2: sound with a stage presence
Four Air Motion V2 loudspeakers, installed at a height of four metres, occupied a central position within the system. Their elevated placement projected sound across the dancefloor, while their distinctive geometry provided a strong visual presence within the production.
Luxartis’ lighting design featured fifteen ADJ Jolt Panel FX and six ADJ Jolt Bar FX fixtures. Combining both models helped shape Technoseven’s visual language and integrate the sound equipment into the overall stage design.
The recognisable forms of Air Motion V2 therefore shared the space with the effects created by the ADJ fixtures in a production where technology remained visible as part of the venue’s identity.
Different solutions across the dancefloor
The configuration brought together eight Arclite loudspeakers performing different reinforcement and coverage-extension roles. These included delay lines positioned 25 metres from the stage at a height of 3.5 metres.
This distribution adapted the system to the depth of the venue and maintained the sound experience across its furthest areas without relying exclusively on projection from the main system.
The areas closest to the stage also received additional front-fill reinforcement, while ten Arcline 218 subwoofers handled low-frequency reproduction. Combining main loudspeakers, reinforcement, delay lines and subwoofers gave different Void Acoustics solutions clearly defined functions within the system.
