One sound system for a club with endless experiences

The Els Club Vilamoura is a luxury golf resort that combines sport, dining and leisure in a single destination. The venue features a restaurant, bars, a pro shop, wellness areas, private rooms and large outdoor spaces, requiring a flexible audio solution tailored to each environment.

To meet these needs, a professional distributed audio system was designed and installed, capable of delivering uniform coverage across all areas of the club with multi-zone management, independent control and reliable performance both indoors and outdoors. The solution is based on Ecler technologies, selected for their compatibility, scalability and ease of integration in projects of this scale.

Project objectives

The system design focused on four main objectives:

Uniform coverage across all areas of the venue
Multi-zone management with independent source and volume control
Speaker selection adapted to the acoustics of each space
Simple user control, with professional performance in the background

System architecture

The core of the system is the HUB1616 digital matrix, responsible for signal routing, processing and distribution across all zones of the club. This solution enables centralised control of levels, EQ and source allocation, ensuring a consistent sound experience throughout the venue.

Amplification is based on AURA Series multi-channel power amplifiers, combining AURA-4B900 and AURA-4B600 units, allowing each output to be adapted to the specific load and ensuring stable performance even under high demand.

For background music and occasional content playback, an eSAS-BT unit with Bluetooth connectivity was integrated. Daily control is managed via the PULSO-10 touchscreen panel, providing simple and intuitive zone and volume management without technical expertise.

The IP infrastructure is supported by a NETGEAR GSM4210PD switch, ensuring a stable network and keeping the system ready for future expansion or remote monitoring capabilities.

Acoustic solutions by area

The indoor restaurant and outdoor terrace use NIMBO-24 systems, delivering clear midrange and controlled coverage. The same solution is used in the central bar and social areas, ensuring tonal consistency across the venue.

Outdoor areas near the bar are equipped with eMOTUS8OD loudspeakers, designed to withstand environmental conditions without compromising sound quality.

The golf shop, foyer and lounge combine NIMBO-14 and NIMBO-24 models, balancing acoustic performance and aesthetic integration.

In spaces such as restrooms, changing rooms and spa areas, VIC6 in-ceiling loudspeakers were used, providing discreet background music and announcements.

Finally, IG108 systems were installed in gardens and access areas, delivering immersive coverage while preserving the landscape aesthetics. Private rooms and members’ areas were fitted with DROP6 pendant speakers combined with VIC6, offering independent control and a tailored audio experience.

Results

The multi-zone audio system at The Els Club Vilamoura provides a flexible, scalable solution fully adapted to the needs of the venue. The integration of Ecler technologies ensures that all elements work as a unified system, delivering a consistent, high-quality sound experience across the entire resort.
