Void Acoustics returns to Danza Futura

Festivals held in natural settings present very different conditions from indoor venues or conventional event spaces. Longer distances, the absence of architectural boundaries and changing environmental conditions call for systems capable of carrying the sound experience across the dancefloor.

At Danza Futura 2026, this adaptation took shape through a selection of Void Acoustics solutions supplied and installed by Conektion. The deployment combined different products from the brand to support both the main system and the extension of low-frequency reproduction across the site.

Arclite and Arcline 218 at the heart of the system

The main configuration brought together ten Arclite loudspeakers and twelve Arcline 218 subwoofers, complemented by two Arc M12 units.

Combining Arclite with Arcline 218 allowed the system to be built around two product families with complementary roles. The Arclite units handled the main reproduction, while the twelve subwoofers provided the extension required for a programme in which low frequencies are central to the audience experience.

The selection illustrates how an electronic music system can draw on solutions from a single brand, retaining a shared visual identity while giving each model a specific function within the overall configuration.

A configuration shaped by the depth of the dancefloor

One of the most distinctive aspects of the deployment was the distribution of the low-frequency reinforcement. Part of the system was positioned as a delay approximately 30 metres from the main dancefloor, extending the reach of the sub-bass in an environment without the physical boundaries of an enclosed venue.

Rather than simply adding more equipment, this arrangement adapted the role of the Arcline 218 units to the depth of the site. It demonstrates how the position and purpose of each component can shape the overall behaviour of an outdoor system.

Bias Q3 and Bias Q5 amplification powered the installation, completing a solution built from different families within the Void Acoustics ecosystem.

A recognisable presence within the landscape

At Danza Futura, the audio equipment was not concealed behind the production. The characteristic design of the Void Acoustics systems gave the installation a recognisable presence within the festival setting, adding a visual dimension to the dancefloor experience.
