Void Acoustics returns to Danza Futura

Festivals such as Danza Futura prove that a sound system is about far more than output level or coverage. In a natural environment, the challenge is to integrate technology with the surroundings so that the listening experience feels consistent from start to finish.

Held in the heart of the forest, Danza Futura 2026 once again relied on a Void Acoustics sound system supplied and deployed by Conektion Audio, designed to deliver precise, consistent audio throughout the festival despite the changing conditions of an outdoor venue.

The main system featured 10 Arclite loudspeakers and 12 Arcline 218 subwoofers, complemented by two Arc M12 loudspeakers. One of the key elements of the design was a delayed low-frequency reinforcement system positioned around 30 metres from the main dancefloor, extending coverage while maintaining clarity and tonal consistency across the site.

The system was powered by Bias Q3 and Bias Q5 amplifiers, with audio managed through a Roland M5000 console, allowing real-time adjustments to compensate for changes in temperature and humidity throughout the weekend.

The result was a consistent listening experience from the opening set to the final sunrise, delivering the same sonic character across the entire dancefloor while maintaining even coverage in a demanding outdoor environment.

As Héctor Roca, organiser of Danza Futura, explains:

"The Void system delivered from the very first track to the very last, without losing either impact or definition. Low-frequency reinforcement was exceptionally well controlled and coverage remained consistent across the entire dancefloor."

This project demonstrates how careful acoustic design, combined with a Void Acoustics system and the expertise of Conektion Audio, can successfully meet the challenges of delivering professional sound in one of the most demanding environments: an outdoor electronic music festival surrounded by nature.
