Sound for a world-class event
The opening ceremony of the 2024 FIA Motorsport Games, held at Valencia's City of Arts and Sciences, brought together almost 800 athletes representing 86 countries for one of the most prestigious events in international motorsport.
For an event of this scale, the sound system had to provide consistent coverage, excellent speech intelligibility and the output required to support official speeches, live performances and the audiovisual production throughout the ceremony.
The installation was built around Lynx Pro Audio's CLS Series, featuring a main system based on CLS-212 line arrays and CLS-218S subwoofers, configured to deliver even coverage and powerful, balanced sound across the entire audience area.
Additional CLS-28 side-fill arrays extended coverage to the outer sections of the venue, ensuring a consistent listening experience throughout the site.
Stage monitoring was provided by ADP-212M monitors, giving presenters and performers a clear and reliable reference during the event.
The result was a sound system capable of meeting the demands of a major international production, where reliability, coverage and speech intelligibility were essential to the success of the opening ceremony.
