Montanejos town square comes alive with Void Acoustics

For four days, Días de Campo transforms Montanejos into one of the most distinctive meeting points on Spain’s electronic music scene. The festival extends across several locations in the town and its natural surroundings, bringing music, culture and landscape together while maintaining a close connection with the local community.

Among its different stages, La Plaza holds a particularly representative place within the festival. Located in the centre of Montanejos and open to the public, it becomes an outdoor dancefloor surrounded by the architecture and everyday activity of the town.

For the 2026 edition, Hypnos Industries installed a Void Acoustics system in this space, supporting its musical programme and reinforcing the identity of one of Días de Campo’s most characteristic settings.

Electronic music at the heart of the town

La Plaza offers a very different experience from a conventional festival stage. Rather than being separated from its surroundings, the music becomes part of the town centre, engaging both festivalgoers and those moving through the streets of Montanejos.

The setting creates a particularly close relationship between artists and audience. The proximity of the DJ booth, the open nature of the space and the surrounding architecture turn each session into a shared experience connected to the life of the town.

The sound system had to respond to the particular characteristics of this setting, delivering the presence and definition required for electronic music while integrating visually into such a recognisable location.

An installation with its own identity

The PA system installed by Hypnos Industries comprised two Trimotion, supported by two Nexus Q and two Stasys Air.

This combination created a configuration suited to the characteristics of La Plaza, with an aesthetic closely aligned with the festival’s creative identity. The sculptural design of the Void Acoustics systems gave the installation an unmistakable visual presence, allowing the equipment to become part of the stage design itself.

DJ booth monitoring was provided by two Venu 215 V2 and two Air Vantage, giving the artists a monitoring system suited to the requirements of the programme.

Sound as part of the experience

Sound was one of the most highly praised aspects of Días de Campo 2026. The experience at La Plaza demonstrated how a professional audio installation can extend beyond its technical role and contribute to the personality of a stage.

Here, the combination of music, architecture and everyday town life created an atmosphere that would be difficult to reproduce in a conventional festival setting. La Plaza was not simply a dancefloor, but a meeting point that brought the identity of Días de Campo into the centre of Montanejos.

The installation delivered by Hypnos Industries strengthened this connection through a Void Acoustics system recognisable for both its performance and its design. The result was an experience in which sound and aesthetics came together to support one of the festival’s most distinctive concepts.
