The Ciutat de Castelló Arena is one of the city's leading sports and multi-purpose venues. With a capacity of 6,000 spectators, it regularly hosts sporting competitions, concerts and a wide range of live events, each with its own acoustic requirements.
To meet these diverse demands, the venue features a Lynx Pro Audio sound system installed by Sonovideo as part of a complete audiovisual upgrade.
The installation combines HR and CXA Series loudspeakers, providing consistent coverage and excellent speech intelligibility for both public address and music applications. XT Series amplifiers power the entire system, ensuring reliable operation and precise control under all operating conditions.
Most recently, the arena hosted a national rhythmic gymnastics championship, where music plays a fundamental role in every performance. For the event, Elemtec reinforced the permanent installation with additional CPS Series loudspeakers, adapting the system to the specific acoustic requirements of the competition while maintaining consistent coverage across the venue.
The result is a flexible audio infrastructure capable of adapting to different event formats while delivering clear, reliable and consistent sound throughout the arena.
