A new place to experience Void Acoustics
Conektion has officially opened Conektion Lab, its new demonstration space in Asturias, created to bring professional audio closer to integrators, technicians and AV professionals through real-world demonstrations.
Located in the Silvota industrial estate, Conektion Lab brings together Void Acoustics solutions for fixed installations, rental and live events, allowing visitors to experience different system configurations, compare technologies and evaluate their performance in real operating conditions.
The project is the result of a collaboration between Carlos Presno, founder of Conektion, and Eduardo Ortiz, Brand Manager for Void Acoustics at NID. They had worked together in the sector years earlier and later resumed their collaboration when NID took over the distribution of the brand in Spain and Portugal.
More than a demonstration space, Conektion Lab has been created as a place for learning and knowledge sharing. Alongside product demonstrations, it will host training sessions on professional audio and lighting, activities linked to electronic music culture, and streaming and podcasting initiatives, becoming a meeting point for the audiovisual community.
Backed by a team with extensive experience in professional audio, the space offers specialist advice and the opportunity to experience professional sound systems before specifying them for future projects.
