At Pendulo Beach Club, located on the coast of Castelldefels, the sound system evolves alongside the venue throughout the day. During restaurant service, it delivers smooth, even background music; as the atmosphere shifts and the DJ takes over, the system reveals its full potential without requiring any changes to the installation.
The project is built entirely around Void Acoustics, combining acoustic performance with seamless aesthetic integration. The restaurant area features an extensive deployment of Cyclone 10 loudspeakers in black, strategically installed at different heights to provide consistent coverage throughout the venue while blending naturally into the architecture.
As the venue transitions into beach club mode, two custom Air Motion loudspeakers in a unique matte gold finish take centre stage in the DJ booth. Beneath the booth, a Stasys 218 subwoofer delivers the low-frequency impact needed as the energy builds and the party begins.
The installation is powered by BIAS Q2 amplifiers, while an Ecler MIMO1212SG audio matrix manages signal routing, allowing the system to adapt to each stage of the venue's daily operation.
"The first thing that catches people's attention is the Air Motion. Many guests don't even realise it's a loudspeaker and ask, 'Does that actually produce sound?' My answer is always the same: yes... and plenty of it," says Fran Nicolás López, Technical Director.
