La Terraza Bagheera in Toledo has upgraded its sound system with an installation designed to deliver a balanced listening experience across every area of the venue, from the dancefloor to the relaxation zones. Developed by SSB Audiovisuales using Lynx Pro Audio technology, the project combines a high-power main PA system with a distributed reinforcement solution to ensure consistent coverage throughout the entire space.

Main PA system for the central area

Coverage of the main dancefloor is provided by a combination of HR-1296/7 Marine and HR-18/10 Marine systems, configured to deliver sound pressure, clarity and throw in the area with the highest audience concentration.

The system design ensures a consistent and balanced response, delivering impact and energy without compromising intelligibility.

DJ booth monitoring

The DJ booth is equipped with an RX-12 active monitor, providing an independent reference for the performer and allowing precise session control even at high sound pressure levels.

Distributed coverage for peripheral areas

To cover the rest of the venue, a different approach was adopted. Rather than increasing the output level of the main PA system, a distributed solution was implemented using twelve JN-8T loudspeakers and two BS-112 subwoofers.

Thanks to their wide dispersion and IP-46-rated design for outdoor applications, the JN-8T loudspeakers provide uniform coverage across terraces, walkways and lounge areas without creating excessive sound pressure hotspots.

The result is a consistent listening experience for all guests, regardless of where they are located within the venue.

Processing and amplification

System management is handled by a LUKA-248 processor, responsible for applying presets, filtering and system adjustments to optimise overall performance.

Amplification is provided by models from the MH Series — MH-45200, MH-23200 and MH-21500 — selected according to the requirements of each area. Based on high-efficiency Class H technology, the range delivers substantial power reserves and precise system control.

Designed for the complete venue experience

Beyond the available power, the value of the installation lies in the intelligent distribution of the different systems throughout the venue.

While the main HR-1296/7 Marine and HR-18/10 Marine systems provide the energy required for the dancefloor, the distributed reinforcement solution based on JN-8T loudspeakers and BS-112 subwoofers ensures uniform coverage across the rest of the venue, creating a balanced, powerful and comfortable listening experience for all guests.
