Terraza Bagheera in Toledo debuts its new sound system, delivering balanced coverage across all areas, from the dance floor to the most remote corners.
Main PA system: power and coverage in the central area
The core of the system is based on a main configuration designed to deliver sound pressure, clarity, and reach in the area with the highest audience concentration. This role is handled by a combination of HR-1296/7 Marine and HR-18/10 Marine systems, which provide the necessary energy to cover the main dance floor with consistent performance even in demanding outdoor conditions. The system design ensures a balanced response across the entire central area, delivering impact without sacrificing intelligibility.
Dedicated monitoring for DJ booth
The DJ booth features an RX-12 active monitor, providing an independent reference for the artist and facilitating control of the set even during moments of high sound pressure from the main system.
Distributed reinforcement to maintain coverage
One of the most interesting aspects of the project is the treatment of peripheral areas. Instead of increasing the level of the main system to cover the entire venue, a distributed system has been chosen based on a dozen JN-8T loudspeakers and two BS-112 subwoofers. The JN-8T feature an 8-inch driver and a multi-tap transformer, along with an IP-46-rated design specifically intended for outdoor applications such as terraces, beach clubs, pools, or hospitality areas. Their wide dispersion helps maintain a homogeneous coverage without creating excessive pressure zones. The result is a more balanced experience for the audience, regardless of whether they are near the DJ booth, at the bar, or in the lounge areas.
Processing and amplification within the Lynx ecosystem
The entire system is managed via an LUKA-248 processor, responsible for applying presets, filtering, and adjustments to optimize the overall system performance. Amplification is distributed through the MH Series, with MH-45200, MH-23200, and MH-21500 models depending on the requirements of each zone. This series, based on high-efficiency Class H technology, delivers high power reserves and precise control of the overall system.
