Sound ready for the game

SkyFi Castalia Stadium, home of CD Castellón, has completed a comprehensive upgrade of its sound system with a new installation based on Lynx Pro Audio, bringing its audio infrastructure in line with the demands of modern professional football.

With a capacity of 14,500 spectators, the venue required a solution capable of delivering consistent coverage and excellent speech intelligibility throughout the stadium, ensuring that announcements and public address messages reach every seat with clarity.

Distributed by NID and installed by Raser Eventos, the system was designed using Rainbow 3D acoustic prediction software, allowing every loudspeaker position to be optimised before installation to achieve consistent coverage and predictable performance.

The upper tier combines CPS-14/96MG and HR-1296/7MG loudspeakers to provide the output and throw required for long-distance coverage. In the lower tier, JN-8T loudspeakers from the Juno Series deliver near-field reinforcement, improving speech intelligibility close to the pitch without relying on excessive sound pressure levels.

The entire installation is powered by GTX-14K amplifiers and managed through OCS (Online Control System), enabling real-time monitoring and independent control of each audio zone.

The result is a sound system designed to meet the demands of professional football, ensuring that every announcement is delivered clearly and consistently throughout the stadium.
